The Heaven's Flame Solar Cooker

Please checkout The Heaven's Flame Solar Cooker for plans to make this cooker, they are also linked off of the Solar Cooking .org Web Site

I built this cooker in the Fall of 2007, in the picture I'm making Beer Bread. The lid is off the pot for the dough to rise shortly after I put on the lid and the bread baked in 2 hours. I also made soup the same day and the next using the recipe SharonID's Solar Project Soup, on a suggestion I added a teaspoon of hot sauce into one of the soup jars, it turned out great! I made three jars of soup the second time around and I'm going to prep more jars to see if the cooker will handle 6 jars. You have to be careful as you can overload a cooker with too much food. It was a cloudy day so the soup took 4 hours, yup that long, on a cloudy day I've not been able to cook effectively with a panel cooker. The first day I made soup it was one jar and it took an hour and a half.
